The History of Seabrook Island Club

Just a reminder for those visiting for the Annual Meeting, The History of the Seabrook Island Club is now available for $16.95 at the Golf Pro Shop and the Tennis Pro Shop. Written by Ron Ciancio with help from Sue Holloman, Lisa Miller, Ike Smith and Steve Ward, the book provides a detailed history of the Seabrook Island Club, including the early attempts of the property owners to purchase the recreational assets from the Island's developer, Robert Russell, through Russell's bankruptcy, the bank's foreclosure and the successful efforts of the property owners to purchase the assets from the bank. The book describes the Island One campaign, the Horizon Plan as well as other highlights from the Club's history. The book will make interesting reading both for those property owners who lived through the experience as well as new property owners who want to learn more about the Club's history.

Special thanks to Bob Hider, Club Member, and Curtis Krueger for donating their time and photographic talents to the book.
