Golf Shop
There are some new items to check out in the Golf Shop. For men and women, we have brought in socks from Kentwool. They advertise as "The worlds' best golf sock" and here are the reasons behind their claim. The socks are air infused, super fine merino wool, with extra cushioning at stress points. They are designed to reduce fatigue and friction. The fabric content is 66% merino wool, 24% nylon (for durability), 8% cocona polyester, (for odor absorption) and 2% spandex (for stretch and comfort). Those of us who have test driven a pair do not feel they are hot on your feet, but are incredibly comfortable, keeping your feet dry due to the moisture wicking properties. Anyone who has problems with their feet, or anyone who is interested in extreme comfort should try a pair. (All technical information provided by Kentwool.)

The other new and exciting item is for women. It is a new sun protection shirt from Bette & Court. This lightweight, long sleeve garment has mesh inserts along the entire under side of the sleeve. The Icefil ® technology has UV protection, is anti-bacterial and moisture wicking. The most interesting feature, however, is that the fabric lowers your body temperature up to 3 degrees. We all know we need to protect ourselves from the sun and now there is a very comfortable, yet attractive option. (All technical information provided by Bette & Court.)

Guys, you really should take a look at the Boxerjock underwear from Under Armour. As you know, we are all about moisture wicking this time of year, even down to your undies! Combine these with a pair of moisture wicking pants and shirt, and you'll be comfortable for your entire round.

TENNIS NEWS

New Program!!

Ladies Quads

Begins Thursday, June 17th @ 8:00am

**Pre sign is required and space may be limited***

This is a new program for competitive play open to women of all levels. The program is designed to provide competitive outlet for play on an ongoing/regular basis. All league teams are encouraged to participate in this program and use it as your weekly team practice for the summer.

How the quadrant works:

Each quadrant of four players will play three sets, no add scoring. One set with each player to determine the winner.

- The player with the best overall results moves to the next highest quadrant.

- The player with the worst overall results moves to the quadrant below

- In case of a tie, the player who was ranked higher at the start of play that day will move up, and conversely, the player who was ranked lower will move down

- The top player in the quadrant will move ahead of any absent players positioned between themselves and the next highest quadrant.

- Any absent player ranked above or below the lowest scoring player will be placed below the low scorer in the quadrant that she would have been playing in that day.

If it is your first time playing in the quadrant the pro's will place you in what they feel is the appropriate position utilizing NTRP and prior experience as guidelines. The quad program is scheduled to run through July.

Purchase a series of 5 private lessons with the pro of your choice and the sixth lesson is free!! A package of regular lesson times can be a great way to take your game to the next level in a short period of time. Lesson series must be completed within a two month time frame.
