Greens and Course Aerification - Ocean Winds Closed Through Thursday, July 22nd
Ocean Winds will be closed through Thursday, July 22nd for aerification and top-dressing. Greens will be aerated first, so by the time we reopen on Friday, July 23rd, the greens should have mostly healed.
MGA Superintendent's Revenge Saturday August 7th
Our only MGA tournament event in August, the annual Superintendent's Revenge is always a big hit. Sean Hardwick and his staff get their revenge by torturing us with a challenging course set up for this individual stroke play event. Play will begin at 9:00 am on Crooked Oaks, lunch will follow play and the entry fee is $25 plus applicable golf fees. Please sign up in the golf shop, call 768-2529 or send an email to golf@discoverseabrook.com.
The Blitz on Wednesdays
Join us every Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm for a quick and casual 9 holes of golf. Each player contributes $12 to the prize pool, plus carts, and we play a Captain's Choice Scramble. Please sign up by noon the day of play.
Adult Clinics
Every Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 the professional staff conducts a short game clinic on pitching, chipping, putting, and bunker play. One week, we focus on chipping and putting. The next week, we focus on pitching and bunker. So, if you are beginner or just need a tune-up on the short game, call the Golf Shop, 768-2529, to sign up. The cost is $15.
On Thursdays from 9:30- 10:30 and Saturdays from 12 - 1, the professional staff conducts a 1 hour clinic devoted to the full swing. This is a great way for you and your guests to get quality instruction prior to playing or just to hone your skills. Whatever your playing level, the full swing clinic can aid your swing development. The cost is $15.00
Summer Junior Clinics
Every Wednesday and Friday throughout the summer months, we will host Junior Clinics from 10:00 - 11:00. The cost is $10.00 and juniors age 6 and up are invited!

New Program!!
Ladies Quads
Thursday through July @ 8:00am
**Pre sign is required and space may be limited***
This is a new program for competitive play open to women of all levels. The program is designed to provide competitive outlet for play on an ongoing/regular basis. All league teams are encouraged to participate in this program and use it as your weekly team practice for the summer.
How the quadrant works:
Each quadrant of four players will play three sets, no add scoring. One set with each player to determine the winner.
- The player with the best overall results moves to the next highest quadrant.
- The player with the worst overall results moves to the quadrant below
- In case of a tie, the player who was ranked higher at the start of play that day will move up, and conversely, the player who was ranked lower will move down
- The top player in the quadrant will move ahead of any absent players positioned between themselves and the next highest quadrant.
- Any absent player ranked above or below the lowest scoring player will be placed below the low scorer in the quadrant that she would have been playing in that day.
If it is your first time playing in the quadrant the pro's will place you in what they feel is the appropriate position utilizing NTRP and prior experience as guidelines. The quad program is scheduled to run through July.
