Dr. Smith has worked with athletes from the PGA Tour, College of Charleston Men's Basketball Team, & The Citadel Baseball Team. The discussion will include hands-on training, eye-hand-body coordination, reaction time, eye-foot speed, and speed of recognition. This will be informative, interactive & fun!

Spoleto Festival USA 2009



Reservations Deadline -
Wednesday, March 25th

Seabrook will be able to enjoy the wonderful performance of Rene Marie at this year's Spoleto Festival USA. Shortly after giving two sensational performances at the 2007 festival, singer Rene Marie stopped touring so that she could focus on composing. She returns this year to present her love song to America entitled Voice Of My Beautiful Country, a suite of new jazz, blues, and gospel works. We have secured 40 wonderful seats to her performance at the Gaillard Auditorium on Friday June 5th at 8pm. We will have a charter mini-bus take our group from Seabrook and back. Space is very limited! The cost will be $60 for the tickets & ride, or $40 just for tickets. We are limited to only 32 seats on the bus and all reservations must be made with Michelle Pitney at 768-7849 no later than Wednesday, March 25th. The bus will leave Seabrook at 6:30pm and we will be making future plans for a dinner before hand that you may sign up for separately.

MGA Seabrook Cup Matches
Thursday, March 19th at 5pm
Bohicket's Lounge
On March 19th there will be a player's selection Cocktail Party beginning at 5:00 in Bohicket's with heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

3 9 hole matches are scheduled for Friday, March 20th beginning at 8:20 and an 18 hole match on the Saturday, March 21st with a shotgun start beginning at 9:00.
Only 3 qualifying dates remain: March 14th, March 17th, and March 19th.

MGA Fab 20 Shootout
Monday, April 6th
This is one of the most exciting events of the year!!!
On April 6th, 20 of the successful qualifiers will play a shoot out format with 10 players starting on #1 and 10 players starting on #10. One player will be eliminated on each hole until there a 2 left. The final 2 will play #18 until the winner is determined. A $5.00 qualifying fee funds the prize money. Jon Anderson is the defending champion.

MGA Island Cup
The Island Cup is slated for April 8th on the Crooked Oaks course. Don't let this one get away ... qualify today! Let's crush Kiawah!


Demo Day- March 28th
From 10am to 4pm
Ping, Cleveland, Callaway, Nike, Cobra, Titleist all slated to appear. This is a great opportunity to try all the new equipment from the leading manufacturers in golf. We look forward to seeing you there!
