Couples Golf Mixer and Dinner with the Governor's Club Sunday, February 28
This home and home Couples golf event will be played here on our Crooked Oaks course. The event provides a wonderful opportunity to play golf with and get to know better our Kiawah Island neighbors. A 12:30 shotgun start is planned and you may sign up in the golf shop. We will play Kiawah Island Resort's Osprey Point course April 18th.
MGA & SILGA Spring Member-Member Friday and Saturday, March 5th & 6th
Our two major golf organizations join up once again to play their spring member-member tournaments. There will be a separate competition for both gentlemen and ladies but we'll play them at the same time on the same course. A luncheon will be held following play Friday and the Awards Dinner will take place Saturday evening.
Both the MGA and SILGA will play four (4) different formats during the tournament including Four-Ball Stroke Play, Two-Ball Shamble, Captain's Choice Scramble and Modified Alternate shot. Prizes will be awarded for each nine hole competition as well as overall. The entry fee is $60 per player for gentlemen and $50 pp for ladies plus carts which includes the luncheon on Friday, Awards Dinner on Saturday and prizes. Non-playing Spouses are invited and encouraged to attend both social functions and their meal(s) will be charged separately.
The idea to combine these events was very well received last fall and we're excited to do it again this spring, so ladies and gentlemen, pick a partner join us. You may sign up by calling the golf shop at 768-2529 or email your entry to golf@discoverseabrook.com.
Adult Clinics
Every Tuesday from 9:30am - 10:30am the professional staff conducts a short game clinic on pitching, chipping, putting, and bunker play. One week, we focus on chipping and putting. The next week, we focus on pitching and bunker. So, if you are beginner or just need a tune-up on the short game, call the Golf Shop at 768-2529 to sign up. The cost is $15.
On Thursdays from 9:30am - 10:30am and Saturdays from 12pm - 1pm, the professional staff conducts a 1 hour clinic devoted to the full swing. This is a great way for you and your guests to get quality instruction prior to playing or just to hone your skills. Whatever you're playing level; the full swing clinic can aid your swing development. The cost is $15.00.

Employee vs. Member Golf Challenge Monday, February 22
A truly unique and fun event which offers employees of the club the opportunity to play golf with our members. Employees team up and play against teams of members. It's a chance to get to know each other better in a casual setting and everyone enjoys pizza together following play.
The event is open to all members, gentlemen and ladies, but the field is limited to the first 36 to sign up. The format is Four-Ball Match Play, 90% handicap up to a maximum of 32. A shotgun start is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Crooked Oaks and you may sign up by calling the golf shop.
Seabrook/Kiawah Governor's Club Special Golf Days February 18th & 19th We're going to try this one more time and hope for some decent weather! The members of the Kiawah Island Governor's Club have the same offer to play our courses on those dates.
This invitation extends to members as well as accompanied guests. Tee times may be made up to one week in advance and must be made through our golf shop. If you're interested in booking a time, please call or email a member of our golf professional staff who will kindly set it up with the pro staff at Osprey Point.

Adult Clinics
Every Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:30 the professional staff conducts a short game clinic on pitching, chipping, putting, and bunker play. One week, we focus on chipping and putting. The next week, we focus on pitching and bunker. So, if you are beginner or just need a tune-up on the short game, call the Golf Shop, 768-2529, to sign up. The cost is $15.
On Thursdays from 9:30- 10:30 and Saturdays from 12 - 1, the professional staff conducts a 1 hour clinic devoted to the full swing.
